Rolly: Airports are Ute fans? By Paul Rolly Tribune Columnist Salt Lake Tribune Federal dress code? It has finally come to this: The federal government is telling BYU fans to wear red. An announcement over the intercom Friday at Salt Lake City International Airport informed travelers that a memo sent to airports nationwide says patrons should wear red to airports every Friday, deemed "Support Our Troops Day." One patron went to an information desk and was informed that it was not a joke. It was a systemwide request. So BYU fans preparing to fly somewhere else to support the Cougars on the road should take a change of clothes. Reds for the airport, blues for the game. Expect this edict to last until the election, when Karl Rove will no longer feel the need for this "only-Republicans-support-our-troops" hype. ........Speaking of BYU: Salt Lake City defense attorneys Loni DeLand, Gil Athay, David Finlayson, Richard Mauro and Scott Williams are avid University of Utah sports fans. They hire Utah football players to do various jobs at their law firm during the summer and when they remodeled their offices in downtown Salt Lake City they made the bathroom into a U. shrine, with crimson towels, pictures of Ute athletic teams and signatures of individual athletes on the wall. Except for the toilet. It is painted Cougar blue, with BYU's logo sealed onto the bowl. So employees, clients and general visitors can do you-know-what to BYU whenever they get the urge.

Best of luck to this week's favorite team: Boston College
BC just topped #18 Clemson in double overtime. Let's hope BC takes care of business and knocks the zoo back into the sub 50% win/loss column where they belong.
